Marketing Assistant
Work from home for a growing, women-owned digital marketing company!
The Marketing Assistant will support the Marketing Director in the management of several client accounts. Ideal candidate must possess an eye for design, superior written, verbal and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and have a friendly, outgoing personality.
Responsibilities:
Create, design and manage high quality digital marketing materials
Write, edit, and proof marketing materials
Maintain familiarity with clients and their brand standards
Provide marketing and administrative support to Marketing Director and other staff members as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, graphic design or similar field
Proficiency in all social media platforms
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with strong attention to detail; ability to write creative copy, edit and proofread for grammar and content
Exceptionally organized and motivated with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fun, fast-paced environment
A positive, can-do attitude, along with a willingness to learn and grow
Additional qualifications:
Knowledge of website platforms including but not limited to Wordpress, Squarespace, Wix and Shopify
Experience with email marketing platforms such as Constant Contact and MailChimp
Experience with design programs such as InDesign or Canva
Experience with Hubspot/Hootsuite/Loomly/other social media scheduling platform
The ideal candidate would be a highly organized, creative, effective time manager with meticulous attention to detail who loves the challenges of marketing and branding.
Position type: Part-Time (~10-15/week)
Monthly Salary: $2,000
